Client Illustration Work for Chicago brewery "5 Rabbits"

 

This character is gearing up for winter.

These guys were separated by about thirty pages in my sketchbook.  Only recently, after I was thumbing back through the pages did I realize how similar they were.  Funny how that works.

Ever since I got into watercolor, my birds have been getting stranger and stranger.  At this rate, it'll go full circle and soon they'll be back to normal.

These watercolor impressions of my quadruped were done after he was modeled and rigged.

One of my initial bachelor project ideas was a documentary about imaginary, psychedelic insects.  Despite going with another project, I dug up this guy to model (in Maya) and texture (in Mudbox).
